Mental Health | Community | Talks | Workshops | Exchange
As part of Men’s Mental Health Month this November, BMW Motorrad Welt is creating a space for topics that are still not talked about enough: mental health, emotions and the challenges men face in everyday life.
On 06 and 07 November, a shared passion for motorcycles meets open conversations, personal stories and practical insights. Together with guests from the motorcycle and mental health communities, the weekend is all about listening, sharing experiences and helping to break the stigma around mental health.
From 4:00 PM | BMW Motorrad Welt
To kick off the weekend, Dieter Schneider, founder of Fellow’s Ride, shares his personal story and talks about why it is so important to make depression and mental health struggles visible and easier to talk about. His talk is accompanied by film excerpts and insights into the Fellow’s Ride community.
What to expect: Welcome drinks, a talk and film with Dieter Schneider, insights into Fellow’s Ride and an open community conversation about connection, engagement and mental health.
10:00 AM–approx. 4:00 PM | BMW Motorrad Welt
Saturday starts with Breakfast & Chat, followed by talks, workshops and open conversations throughout the day.
Joining us are Jan Schaumann from the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and Matthias Weiser, men’s coach and expert in emotional regulation. Together, we’ll explore topics including mental health, first aid, dealing with emotions and how men can create more space for open and honest conversations.
There will also be dedicated time for community, conversations, food & drinks and networking. The weekend concludes with a joint talk with Sven Wedemeyer, bringing together the central themes of the event: community, mental health and motorcycling as a shared experience that connects people.
Two days to come together, listen and talk openly – because mental health matters to all of us. Participation is free of charge. Advance registration is required.
It's best to secure your ticket right here. There is no assigned seating, so it's worth arriving early. If you have any questions, you can contact us at bmwmotorradwelt@storytellingcompany.com or by phone at +49 (30) 40364311-7.
