Riding alone through China – officially impossible. But Doris Wiedemann found her own way. As the first woman, she spent six months crossing the Middle Kingdom without the state-assigned guide. From Beijing to Shanghai, from Kunming to the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army. Most importantly, she met the people: in villages, in big cities, on the roadside. She was invited into homes, visited a school, even appeared on Chinese television – and discovered China in her very own way.
On November 15, the adventurer will take the audience at BMW Motorrad Welt along on her extraordinary journey. An evening full of stories about courage, curiosity, and freedom on two wheels.
Special highlight
On site, you can also see the original motorcycle – the fully packed BMW F 650 GS Dakar TT39 with which Doris Wiedemann completed this remarkable journey.
