Lecture: Three Highways with Thomas Becher
Thomas Becher's motorbike career began over 40 years ago on a BMW R 80G/S. He has always had wanderlust and his first trips to Turkey and North Africa became longer and longer journeys. In 2012, he fulfilled a dream and travelled overland to Southeast Asia.
In 2014, he took part in the International GS Trophy in Canada, worked for many years as a BMW Motorrad off-road instructor at the BMW Enduropark Hechlingen and took part in numerous rallies.
After his first big trip, far into the east of Asia, Thomas Becher undertook another epic journey with the same BMW, now 31 years old, over the three highest highways in the world, the Pamir, Karakorum and Manali-Leh highways. He takes the audience with him to India, to the most challenging tracks in Central Asia and to the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas.
We are giving away five copies of Thomas Becher's travel book among all guests attending the lecture. Book your ticket, be there, win!
